Marijuana case with stern face

On January 20, the case of the schoolboy from Alaska was studied carefully at the HSE Faculty of Law students’ case club. It seems that Frederick’s freedom of speech had been violated. Without that important social topic the case might have been treated as insignificant.

Howard Davis lecture "Credit Crunch and Its Consequences"

On November 17 Howard Davis, the LSE director, presented a lecture "Credit Crunch and Its Consequences" at the SU—HSE. Mr. Davis depicted the global financial crush as a drama consisting of five parts: subprime, liquidity, unravelling,meltdown and pumping. At the end of his lecture Mr. Davis offered several ways to overcome the crisis.
