Highest Ranked European Computer Scientist Joins HSE as Academic Supervisor of International Laboratory of Process-Aware Information Systems

HSE’s International Laboratory of Process-Aware Information Systems (PAIS lab) was established in January 2013 and is supervised by Professor Wil van der Aalst. In fact, Professor Van der Aalst is the highest ranked European computer scientist (according to Google Scholar). On April 15, 2013 he is giving a lecture in the PAIS lab seminar series. We used this opportunity to ask him some questions.

The Social Science Research Network (SSRN) publishes a monthly ranking of research centers and universities in the social and economic sciences. According to the results of the first quarter of 2013, the HSE ranks first for the number of registered authors publishing their papers on the SSRN site. Over the year, their number has more than doubled: from 117 to 272.

Second Plenary Session of the XIV HSE April Conference: The Social Sphere in Search of Money and Ideas

The second day of the XIV HSE April Conference started with a plenary session on ‘Institutions and New Social Policy’.
