Groups of Employees Non-eligible to Participate in the Bonus Programme
An Academic Merit Bonus cannot be given to:
- teachers and academic staff at HSE University and its regional campuses who were hired through international recruitment procedures for tenure track, teaching track or post-doc positions;
- staff members working under employment agreements, which include requirements to reside in the Russian Federation;
- staff members working under remote employment agreements;
- individuals hired to perform work duties (provide services) at HSE University and its regional campuses under independent contractor agreements;
- heads of grants or applied research projects, expert analytic activities (services) that are carried out at another organization.
Staff members who have the status of HSE University Tenured Professor are not eligible for Tier 1 and 2 bonuses.
Staff members with the status of HSE University Distinguished Professor are not eligible for bonuses for regular publications in international peer-reviewed academic journals.
Holders of the following positions at HSE University are not eligible for Tier 2 bonuses and bonuses for regular publications in international peer-reviewed academic journals: Rector, Academic Supervisor, President, Vice-President, First Vice Rectors, Vice Rectors, Senior Directors or Directors for respective areas of activity at the University, Faculty Deans, heads of schools, ICEF Director, HSE MIEM Director, or Directors of HSE University regional campuses.
