Documents for First-year Students

Dear first-year students,

Congratulations on your enrolment at HSE University!

Below, you can find a list of key documents, which will you need to obtain at the start of your studies.

Student ID Card

Student ID cards are issued by the programme office of your degree programme. Your programme’s manager will tell you about the date and place where you can pick it up.

Certificate of Attendance

If necessary, you can order certificates through the Student Service Centre’s e-service.

Important: You don’t need to order a certificate of attendance to present at your dorm. First-year students’ certificates will be issued in-house and then transferred to your dorm.

Library Card

For obtaining library card, please fill in the registration form on the HSE University Library website. To register, you will need to provide your student ID card number and an HSE University e-mail address. Upon completing a form, you will be given a bar code with a personal identifier available via HSE App X, which will serve as your library card.

Access Pass for HSE University

Issued by the HSE University Pass Collection Desk.

Scholarship Bank Card

First-year students eligible for scholarship payments will be automatically issued scholarship bank cards. Scholarship bank cards may be collected according to the set schedule on-campus or at a branch of VTB Bank. Information about the place, dates and schedule for your bank card’s issue will be sent to your HSE University corporate e-mail.

Muscovite Card

Issued at the My Documents Moscow Service Centre. More information and schedules for picking up Muscovite cards can viewed at https://benefits.hse.ru/en/transport/.
