Academic Calendar

Each academic year is split into 4 modules, each lasting between 8 to 12 weeks. The exact starting and ending dates of each module are subject to change based on weekends and public holidays each year. Some programmes are organised differently, with only two or three modules in a year instead of four.

Regulations

The academic calendar sets out the sequence and alternation of teaching periods, assessment periods, and holiday periods for all fields, specialisations, and years of study at HSE University throughout the academic year. It is prepared and approved each year by an official directive specifying the number of academic modules, the duration of each module (in days), and the holiday periods. Compliance with the calendar is mandatory.
