Independent English Language Test for Students with Disabilities

In accordance with the Procedure for Organising and Conducting Independent English Language Tests Based on International Examination Models (Annex. 3 to Regulations), independent exams for students with disabilities are conducted with consideration of their individual abilities and health conditions.

If a student has medical recommendations requiring special conditions for taking the independent exam, they must submit an application to the Centre for Independent English Language Expertise at the HSE School of Foreign Languages no later than the end of Module 2 of Year 3. The application must include a description of the necessary conditions and the relevant medical documents supporting the request.

For each student who submits the appropriate documents, the head of the Centre will make an individual decision regarding the format of the exam. If the decision is positive, the student will be scheduled to take the exam within 30 calendar days from the date of the decision.

More detailed information about the exam can be found in the HSE Academic Handbook under the HSE Independent English Exam section.
