COVID Section on HSE App: Instructions for HSE University Students

HSE students can access the form to submit the information on their COVID status via HSE App X on App Store or HSE App X on Google Play.

You can access the form via the banner that appears immediately after you log into the app, or via your Profile tab.

 

Consent to the Processing of Personal Data

The first step in the form is confirming your consent to the processing of your personal data by HSE University:

HSE University assures that it will not transmit the information on COVID-19 disease and vaccination to third parties.

Information on Disease

After you give your consent to the processing of your personal data, please add the information on your status:

When you specify the status, please keep in mind the following:

  • Have not had COVID-19’ status is relevant in case you have not had COVID-19 or your have no medical documents that confirm your disease or COVID-19 antibodies;
  • Currently have COVID-19’ status is relevant in case you have a positive result of a PCR or an ELISA test. If you choose this status, please attach a photo/scan of a medical document that confirms this;
  • Have had and recovered from COVID-19’ status is relevant in case you have recovered from COVID-19 and you have a medical document that confirms that you have recovered/ have COVID-19 antibodies. If you choose this status, please indicate the date of your recovery in compliance with the relevant document and attach a photo/scan of the medical document.

Eligible documents are medical certificates issued by medical institutions, as well as screenshots with positive/negative results of a PCR or an ELISA test from your online medical record or personal profile on Gosuslugi website.

Information on Vaccination

As the last step, please add the information on your vaccination status:

When choosing your status, please keep the following in mind:

  • Have not been vaccinated’ status is relevant if as of today, you have not been vaccinated with any of the doses of available vaccines;
  • Have been partially vaccinated’ status is relevant if you have received one shot of a two-dose vaccine. If you choose this status, please indicate the date of the first shot and the scheduled data of the second shot for two-compound vaccines. Please attach a photo/scan of your vaccination certificate;
  • Have been fully vaccinated’ status is relevant if you have been vaccinated by a single-dose vaccine or have received two shots of a two-dose vaccine. If you choose this status, please indicate the date of your single-dose vaccine shot, or the date of the second shot for a two-dose vaccine. Please attach a photo/scan of your vaccination certificate;
  • Cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons’ status is relevant if you have a medical exemption to vaccination due to health reasons. If you choose this status, please indicate the date of exemption expiration according to your medical document and attach a photo/scan of the relevant document.

The completed form will be sent for verification to your study office staff. You can track the status of its verification in the app:

  • If the documents are in the process of verification, you’ll see this icon:

  • If the documents have been verified by a study office employee, you’ll see this icon:

  • If the documents have been rejected by a study office employee, you’ll see this icon:

Please note that you can updated the documents you submit if they have ‘rejected’ and ‘verified’ statuses.


You can see the information on your status, the status of your electronic ID badge (pass to HSE University buildings) and your status in profile settings, COVID-19 tab:

Please be informed that your e-pass to HSE University buildings will be automatically blocked:

  1. For students who have ‘Currently have COVID-19’ status;
  2. For students who are on a ‘lockdown’ [self-isolation] status due to having been in contact with an infected person. This status is added by study office staff.
