Twelve photographs of Moscow landmarks and skyline made in summer by Johnson Chow Chun Shing, an intern at the Faculty of Economic Sciences, are currently on display at Shabolvoka building. Participants of the Autumn School "Modern Trends in Decision Theory" were invited to the gala opening and were the first guests of the exhibition. The Faculty of Economic Sciences' Dean, Oleg Zamulin welcomed the guests, and, together with the International Laboratory of Decision Choice and Analysis Head Professor Fuad Aleskerov cut the ribbon to open the exhibition.
In the 4th issue of the 22nd volume of the International Psychology Bulletin was published a review of the book "Changing Values and Identities in the Post-Communist World" edited by N.M. Lebedeva, R. Dimitrova and J. W. Berry.
On October 23 Tatarko A. N. (Doctor of Psychology, Professor, Chief Researcher, International Laboratory for Socio-Cultural Research, HSE) took part in the "Culture matters" research seminar at the site of the International Workshop "From values to behavior: interdisciplinary studies of regional differences in Russia", conducted by the International Laboratory for Experimental and Behavioral Economics HSE, with the report "Ethnic diversity and social capital in the Russian context (on the example of 25 regions)".
On October 16 Egorova M.S. (Doctor of Psychology, Professor, Head of the Department of Psychogenetics, Faculty of Psychology, Moscow State University) took part in the "Culture matters" research seminar with the report "Negative traits in modern studies of personality structure".
IIMS and ICSID have been actively implementing their Visiting Researchers Program for a long time. Every year, at least ten researchers from all around the world come to Moscow. Most recently, Ashley Blum, a PhD student at the University of California in Los Angeles, visited ICSID and spent about a month and a half in Moscow. The Laboratory for Comparative Social Research of the National Research University Higher School of Economics announces a call for the 8th LCSR International Workshop «Quantitative Research of Social Changes Across the World», which will be held within the XIX April International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development. We are pleased to announce that the 7th LCSR International Workshop “Subjective Well-being and Growing Inequality across the Globe” started on Tuesday, 11 April at the HSE, Moscow. The Seminar is organized within the XVII April International Academic Conference at the HSE. The event will last until April 14.
