The regular scientific seminar of the International Laboratory for Socio-Cultural Research took place on 31st May. The lecturer was Pavel Sorokin, researcher at the Center for Study of Social Organization of a Firm in Higher School of Economics.

The seminar on theme “INPRES project: The adaptation of immigrants from Russia to Finland” was held on 26 April in the ILSCR. The lecturers were Inga Jasinskaja-Lahti, associate professor in Social Psychology, and Tuuli Anna Mähönen, substitute university lecturer in Social Psychology (the department of Social Research, University of Helsinki).
The seminar on “Acculturation and Adaptation of Immigrant Youth” was held on 19 April in the ILSCR. The lecturer was John Berry, professor emeritus in Queen’s University of Kingston, Canada.
On March 29th at the Department of Psychology was held a regular scientific seminar of ILSCR. Peter Schmidt, the head of the lab, professor of University of Giessen and Higher School of Economics made a report on “An integrated theory of creativity and innovation”.
The research seminar with the lecture on "Genes, stress, and demographic consequences" was held on 22nd March. The lecturer was Ph.D., Senior Fellow at the N. Vavilov’s Institute of General Genetics Svetlana Borinskaya.
A scientific seminar devoted to development of electronic sources of cross-cultural psychology took place in ILSCR on 13 March. PhD and senior researcher of ILSCR Dmitry Podolsky spoke on possibilities of creating an electronic journal of cross-cultural psychology on the platform of ILSCR.
The regular laboratory research seminar was held on February 14th. The report ''Using of electronic databases in socio-psychological research'' was made by Alexander Tatarko, senior researcher of the ILSCR.
The regular laboratory research seminar was held on January 22th. Alla Kupreychenko, a professor of Organizational Psychology department in Higher School of Economics, Ph.D. in Psychology, a member of EAWOP, a leading researcher at the laboratory of social and economic psychology, delivered a lecture “Psychological aspects of moral regulation of economic behavior”.
The first research seminar of this year within series "Culture Matters" was held on January 19th. The report "Psychology of the social capital of a multicultural society" was made by Alexander Tatarko, senior researcher of the ILSCR.
