Mariia Molodchik presented the results of the study Culture of Innovation and Knowledge: the Mediating Role of Organizational Learning and Employee Initiative Behavior

On Wednesday, March 24, the National Research University Higher School of Economics hosted an Institute of Control Sciences seminar "Expert opinion and data analysis".

The research by Daria Kleeva, an employee of the Center and a student of the master's program "Cognitive Sciences and Technologies: From Neuron to Cognition", dedicated to the development of methods for mapping functional networks of the brain and carried out under the supervision of Alexei Ossadtchi, was supported by the "Idea" Science Foundation.

Monica Spychala (USA) is a double-degree Master's student at Technische Universität Berlin and HSE University’s Institute for Statistical Studies and Economics of Knowledge (ISSEK), where she studies Governance of Science, Technology and Innovation. Monica spoke with HSE News Service about why she chose HSE, what it is like to study remotely in the Governance of STI programme, and how she is already putting her knowledge into practice.

An international team of scholars studied how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted Europeans’ stress levels and their trust in their national governments and the healthcare systems. They found that respondents were most stressed by the state of the national economy, and only after that, by the risk of catching COVID-19 and possibly being hospitalized. In Western Europe, people trust their governments more than in other EU countries. The results of the study were published in Royal Society Open Science.
