The conference opens on the 1st April 2014 at the HSE with the participation of the World Bank and the IMF. The Deputy Chairman of the Conference Programme Committee Andrei Yakovlev spoke about some of the key sessions, lectures and seminars to look out for. This year the conference will hold series of special seminars, among them there will be HSE ISSEK Workshop “Long-term Science, Technology and Innovation Foresight: Challenges to S&T Policy”.
On March 27, Professor N. M. Lebedeva, the head of the International Scientific-Educational Laboratory of Sociocultural Research at HSE, delivered a presentation as a part of «Culture matters» seminar.
The data book presents the results of innovation surveys in the Russian Federation. It contains internationally compatible indicators characterising the level of innovative activity in industry and services.

Professor Jonathan Linton, Power Corporation Professor for the Management of Technological Enterprise of the University of Ottawa, Canada, and Editor-in-Chief of the Technovation journal has been appointed as the new Head of the HSE Laboratory for Science and Technology Studies at ISSEK the Institute of Statistical Studies and Economics of Knowledge. Professor Linton is no stranger to the HSE. He has given seminars and he spoke at the April Conference last year.
