ERA.NET—RUS Project Seminar

On 16—17 May the HSE hosted International workshop on setting S&T priorities, organised by the ISSEK in the framework of the ERA.NET—RUS project. The participants have built roadmaps outlining thematic areas for Russia—EU research cooperation.

At the end of September, 2012 Institute for Statistical Studies and Economics of Knowledge (ISSEK) launched "Science, Technology and Innovation" (STI) working paper series in the framework of the Higher School of Economics “Working Papers of the Basic Research Program” (HSE WP BRP). Currently it is one of the youngest among all HSE WP BRP series, nevertheless the most popular among them.

ERA-Net.Rus Workshops at the Higher School of Economics, Moscow

Linguistic and socio-cultural adaptation of international migrants through education

On May 16 has been held a seminar in series "Culture Matters". During this seminar Elena Omelchenko, PhD, Associate Professor of the UNESCO Moscow Institute of Open Education, General Director of the "Ethnosphere", made a presentation on following topic "Language and socio-cultural adaptation of international migrants through education."

Lectures by Nobel laureate, professor at Harvard University and honorary professor of the HSE Eric Maskin were held.

The lectures were held from May 14 to May 15.

Personnel of International Scientific-Educational Laboratory for Socio-Cultural Research on advanced training program organized by Social Research Association

In May 2013 personnel of ILSCR – Lusine Grigoryan, Maria Efremova and Ekaterina Bushina – took part in advanced training program organized by Social Research Association in Edinburgh, Scotland.
