On November 8, 2023, the X International Scientific Conference "Culture in Society, Between Groups and Across Generations" was held, annually organized by the Center for Sociocultural Research at HSE University. The event also featured a roundtable discussion on "What is happening to the identity of Russians amidst the special military operation?"

On November 16^th, 2023, the Head of Social and Cognitive Informatics Laboratory, Dr Olessia Koltsova, delivered an open lecture as an Oxford Martin Visiting Fellow for the Oxford Martin Programme on Misinformation, Science & Media at Oxford University.

Leading Research Fellow of the International Laboratory of Digital Transformation in Public Administration of the HSE University Evgeny Diskin took part in the III International Forum «Mass Media and Digital Technologies before the challenges of information and historical falsification» during which a wide range of issues related to the opposition of unreliable information in the field of historical memory was discussed.

In the period from October 31 to December 05, 2023, the International Laboratory of Landscape Ecology conducts the series of seminars on the topic "Current methods and approaches in landscape and environmental research". On November 14, the third seminar of the series on the topic "Assessment of the state of the vegetation cover structure based on the equity participation metric" was held.

HSE University in Nizhny recently hosted the 2nd Autumn Neuro-linguistic School ‘NeuroSciCom: Popularising Language and Brain Studies’ for scientists and students at the HSE Centre for Language and Brain Studies in Nizhny Novgorod. The school was held as part of the 'Human Brain Resilience: Neurocognitive Technologies for Adaptation, Learning, Development and Rehabilitation in a Changing Environment' Strategic Project of the Priority 2030 programme.
