On October 18, a session of the scientific-educational seminar "Mathematical Logic and category theory" took place, where Paolo Mancosu spoke.

The School of Politics and Governance of HSE University’s Faculty of Social Sciences held a preliminary discussion of the PhD paper of the International Laboratory for Digital Transformation for Public Administration Research Assistant Ivan Makarov.

HSE University is now accepting proposals to present academic reports at the XXVI April International Academic Conference named after Evgeny Yasin. Applications can be submitted until December 16, 2025. The conference events will take place mainly on-site in Moscow from April 14 to 17, 2026.

On October 9, 2025, Tatyana Yuryevna Larkina, a junior research fellow at the International Laboratory for Social Integration Research (ILSIR) at the National Research University, Higher School of Economics, defended her PhD dissertation on "Discretion in the Work of School Teachers in Russia."

The conference will take place from the 27th to the 30th of October. Registration is open.

The second Joint Scientific Seminar for digital Transformation researchers was held with the support of the Academic Staff Reserve of the Higher School of Economics. Speakers included Mikhail Romashikhin from the Educational laboratory of computer-aided design systems (HSE University) and Maria Yudina from the International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration systems (HSE University). Participants discussed applied and educational issues of digital transformation.

On October 2, 2025, the International Laboratory for Population and Health held a seminar on "The Place of the Hypothetical Generation in Modern Demography."
Evgeny Andreev, head of the laboratory, presented a lecture on the history, advantages, and challenges of calculating demographic indicators using hypothetical generations.

A research article by a collaborative team from the Molecular Physiology Laboratory at HSE University and the V.I. Kulakov National Medical Research Center for Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology has been published in a leading medical journal. The study presents the first comparative analysis of immune-associated gene expression in classical blood monocytes from women with preeclampsia compared to physiological pregnancy.
