On February 9, 2025, as part of the IDLab scientific seminar, a research presentation was held on " Digital Relational Capital as a Driver of Financial Success in Russian Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises." The study was presented by its authors—Petr Parshakov, Sofia Paklina, and Evgeniya Shenkman. The research was conducted within the framework of the RSF project 23-78-10149, "Factors of Intensification of SME Resources under External Uncertainty."

Ob-Ugric Field Trip and New Bilingual Corpora

n November 2023, as part of the postdoctoral program and the DIAL2 laboratory project, Natalia Koshelyuk traveled to the Ob-Ugrian region to collect new field data. The city of Khanty-Mansiysk was chosen as the primary location, and the focus of the study was the Russian speech of the Mansi and Khanty people.

In the article “Modeling Preeclampsia: From 2D Cultures to Placenta-on-a-Chip Technologies,” Russian scientists have presented an overview of modern cellular models of preeclampsia—a dangerous pregnancy complication. The study covers two-dimensional and three-dimensional cultures, as well as advanced placenta-on-a-chip microfluidic technologies, allowing the examination of pathological mechanisms at the cellular level. The paper highlights the potential of CRISPR-Cas9 and personalized models for developing new diagnostic and therapeutic methods for preeclampsia. These advancements open prospects for more precise early diagnosis of preeclampsia and the creation of effective treatment strategies.

Within the framework of regular IPAG seminars Research fellow of the International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration Aisylu Atayeva made a presentation on "AI in scientific research". She considered AI not as a substitute for scientists, but as an assistant, interlocutor and sparring partner at various stages of the scientific process, especially when preparing scientific publications.

The International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration (HSE University) presented the results of a large-scale study at an expanded meeting of the Bank of Russia, which brought together more than 1,350 participants. Evgeny Styrin, Head of the laboratory, and Anna Sanina, Leading Research Fellow, made a presentation on "Human-Centricity in The Context of Digital Transformation and The Use of Artificial Intelligence in The Banking Sector". HSE Laboratory of Human-Centricity and Leadership Practices also participated in the research presented that day.
