HSE University has hosted the latest in a series of adaptation seminars for research assistants. Representatives of the Centre for Scholarly Integration and the Centre for Student Academic Development told aspiring scientists about the opportunities afforded by participation in projects at HSE’s scientific laboratories, while experienced research assistants shared their cases.

The Russian scientific and practical law journal “Journal of Digital Technologies and Law” recorded and transmitted a podcast by the leading researcher of Leading Research Fellow of the International Laboratory of Digital Transformation in Public Administration of the HSE University. Dr. Evgeny Diskin «The problem of digital cancelation of Russian citizens».
The winter school took place in Vladivostok from November 27 to December 1, 2023.

From November 26 to December 1, the Scientific Leaders' Offsite School and the III Congress of Young Scientists took place in Sochi and the Sirius Park of Science and Art. Evgeny Knyazev, a member of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology at HSE University, participated in these events.
On November 28, 2023, the results of the Russian Science Foundation competition were announced: the application submitted by the Laboratory of Social and Cognitive Informatics received support for the year 2024.

The work "Topic models with elements of neural networks: investigation of stability, coherence, and determining the optimal number of topics" was prepared within the framework of the QTM project "Improving the Methodology of Automatic Text Analysis".
In the period from October 31 to December 05, 2023, the International Laboratory of Landscape Ecology conducts a series of seminars on the topic "Current methods and approaches in landscape and environmental research”. On November 21, a seminar was held on the topic "Geoinformation mapping of natural and anthropogenic landscapes according to remote sensing data"
