On April 18, 2023, the second consultation seminar from the series "Care and well-being in post-socialist Eurasia: institutions, discourses, identities". The meeting was devoted to the discussion of the topic «“Special Path” Discourse in Framing Political News on Russian TV».
On April 21, 2023, at the XXI International Conference of Young Scientists “Vectors”, within the framework of the section “Breaking Borders, Constructing Differences: Cultural and Symbolic Dimensions of Inequality”, Center members Ekaterina Bushina and Azhariya Karimova made a report on the topic “The influence of ethnicity on the perception of the roles of ethnic minorities in situations of school bullying by Russian schoolchildren: factorial design"
On April 21, 2023, the International Laboratory of Digital Transformation in Public Administration held a seminar “Why do different digital public services differ so much in the response of social media users? Empirical data on the way towards a formal model”. The speakers were Professor Andrei Akhremenko, intern researcher of the laboratory Ilya Philippov and graduate student Vadim Egorov.
The Center for Digital Transformation of Public Administration of the Lomonosov Moscow State University held an international round table. Head of the International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration (Institute for Public Administration and Governance of the HSE University) Evgeny Styrin, made a presentation on "Data-based Public Administration: Effects, Risks, Barriers".
Throughout the year, the HSE International Laboratory for Social Integration Research (ILSIR) is hosting consulting seminars on ‘Care and Welfare in Post-Socialist Eurasia: Institutions, Discourses, Identities’ with presentations by leading foreign experts. The first seminar in the series, ‘Conceptualising Social Activism’ was held on April 4 with the participation of Professor Linda Cook, Academic Supervisor of HSE ILSIR. The second one will take place on April 18.
On April 11, 2023, as part of the Lyubimov Readings in Nizhny Novgorod, members of the Center for Sociocultural Research, leading researcher Bushina E.V. and trainee researcher Karimova A.M. presented a report on the topic “Psychological well-being of schoolchildren in heterogeneous classes.”
On April 12, 2023, within the framework of the XXIV Yasin (April) International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development, a session "Sociocultural Potential of Museums: Identity and Local Solidarity" was held (Moderator: N. Bolshakov (ILSIR, HSE University).
