In early October, members of the Linguistic Convergence Laboratory published a paper in Language . Language is the flagship journal of the Linguistic Society of America and one of the most respected general linguistics journals in the world; perhaps the most prestigious one. Since the journal’s launch in 1925, it has seen the publication of only two papers whose first author is a researcher affiliated with a Russian university or institute.

On October 14 Olga Abramova (Lecturer, Department of Psychology, Research Assistant, Center for Sociocultural Research, HSE University) took part in the "Culture matters" research seminar with the report "Leadership styles, organizational culture, and personal characteristics as factors of employee orientation towards innovation in the organization".

In September-October 2021, a research group from the Center for Language and Brain (Olga Parshina, Olga Dragoy, Nina Zdorova and Anastasia Kromina) collected reading data in children in the capital of the Republic of Adygea, Maykop. 

On October 11, 2021, the staff of the Center held an open seminar in Naberezhnye Chelny on "Neuronal foundations of speech disorders and the development of neuro-linguistic tests". The event was organized within the framework of a scientific agreement with Kazan Federal University.

The International Laboratory for Social Integration Research concluded September with another seminar. Maria Pridatchenko presented her report "Models of institutionalization of family education".

On September 30 Anastasia Trifonova (Research Assistant, Postgraduate Student, Center for Sociocultural Research, HSE University) took part in the "Culture matters" research seminar with the report "Personal and contextual predictors of adaptation of the Russian ethnic minority in the post-Soviet space (on the example of Estonia)".
