On November 6, the International Laboratory for Experimental and Behavioural Economics at HSE University hosted the international conference, Experimental Economics in Russia – 2019. Laboratory Head Alexis Belianin spoke with HSE News Service about what experimental economics is and why it is a particularly dynamic area of research for scholars of economics.

The senior research fellow of the International Laboratory for Logic, Linguistics and Formal Philosophy has presented a talk in the Leibniz-Centre General Linguistics (ZAS) in Berlin.
During his visit to the laboratory, Michael Zhitomirsky will give seminars on Spin-wave theory for quantum magnets and Frustrated magnets and order from disorder from the Monte Carlo viewpoint.

Moscow, Tatarstan and St. Petersburg are the leaders of the new ranking. Based on 53 indicators, the ranking can be used by regional governments to develop and optimize their innovation policy. The ranking presentation was held on October 31 at a press conference hosted by the TASS news agency.
