The seminar was hosted by the head of the Laboratory, Elena Iarskaia-Smirnova, as part of the course for sociology students "Diversity, Equality, Inclusion".

On October 5, 2023 the Museum "In Silence" and the International Laboratory for Social Integration Research held a discussion with students of the 10th grade of the HSE Lyceum on the possibilities of studying various aspects of inclusion and communities of people with disabilities in the museum space.

Nikita Bolshakov, a Leading Research Fellow at the Laboratory, delivered a lecture on "The organization of an inclusive environment in cultural institutions", prepared jointly with Ksenia Dmitrieva, head of the "Special View" program of the Alisher Usmanov Charitable Foundation "Art, Science and Sport".

On June 6, 2023, Victoria Antonova, a Leading Research Fellow at the Laboratory, was invited by the "Open Yourself" project took part in the public talk "Trends in inclusive employment".

On May 21, HSE University’s International Laboratory for Social Integration Research, together with the GES-2 House of Culture, will organise the first International Interdisciplinary Conference ‘What Does It Mean to Be Deaf? New Challenges for the Community’. The forum dedicated to the social, cultural and linguistic foundations of the deaf community’s functioning in the country and the world is planned in offline and online formats.

Lilia Faizova successfully overcame a distance of 5 km and received a well-deserved medal.
