Joint research is aimed at the theoretical description of a new generation of superconducting materials and devices. Among them is the work on the magnetic response of ferromagnetic superconductors, which offers a fresh look at the phenomenon of intermediate or intertype superconductivity in various materials. Another interesting work concerns the new mechanism of the "origin of complexity from simplicity" - when a system with rather primitive interactions between its constituent parts allows the emergence of complex spatial and temporal configurations (patterns). The article with these results were sent respectively to the editors of the prestigious journals Communications Physics and Physical Review X.
From May 10 to May 24, 2023, the International Laboratory of Landscape Ecology is holding a series of seminars on the topic “Methods for assessing the climate-regulating functions of landscape cover”. On September 26-30, 2022, the HSE International Laboratory for Population and Health held an autumn school "Introduction in Mortality Analysis for Population Health using R". The school brought together participants from different cities of Russia.
In July-August of the current year, Laboratory employees Anna Derkacheva and Robert Sandlersky took part in field studies of forest geosystems in Northwestern Mongolia as part of the Joint Russian-Mongolian Complex Biological Expedition of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Academy of Sciences of the MPR under the IPEE RAS.
The topic of the session 'Global and transnational social policies,' organized by the International Laboratory for Social Integration Research and the Human Capital Multidisciplinary Research Center, covered a wide range of social issues that were raised by foreign researchers.
A workshop dedicated to the inclusion of children and youth in post-socialist countries was held at the International Laboratory for Social Integration Research on March 2, 2022. It discussed drafts of two research articles being prepared for a special issue of the journal "Children and Youth Services Review".
