Open lectures for HSE students from IDLab’s international professors
Between 18th and 20th of September IDLab’s international professor Felix Iturriaga, professor Angel Barajas and professor Dennis Coates delivered interesting lectures for students of Higher School of Economics. On the 18th of September, the lecture for masters students was devoted to the subject of corporate finance. «The lecture enabled the students to recall some the basics of the subject as long as get to learn something new». Seminar "Cardiovascular mortality in Russia: towards a 360 degree assessment"

The sixth scientific seminar ‘Modern demography’ was held on the 20th of September. David Leon, professor of epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, associate professor at the University of Tromsø - Arctic University of Norway, presented his report on “Cardiovascular mortality in Russia: towards a 360 degree assessment".

1st ARIEL CONFERENCE

ICSID Director Andrei Yakovlev took part in the 1st Ariel Conference on the Political Economy of Public Policy that was held in Israel on September 10-12, 2017. 

DeCAn faculty visited University of Tromsø

Dean of DeCAn laboratory Professor F. Aleskerov with our faculty have visited The University of Tromsø - The Arctic University of Norway from September 10 to September 17 for a joint work with UiT on the project "High North Economics: Learning how economists work and think in Russia and Norway using theoretical models and laboratory experiments". 

IIMS and ICSID team members among Best Teachers of HSE 2017

HSE students have chosen the University’s best teachers of 2016/17 academic year. The students voted online via the LMS module ‘Rate your Courses’ from May 29 to June 18, after the obligatory Teaching Quality Assessment. After completing the assessment form, the students were asked to select two best lecturers and workshop supervisors.  Unlike the Teaching Quality Assessment, voting was not obligatory, and the students could leave the form blank.

VII Summer School "From Proposal to Submission: Design of Cross-Cultural Study"


From 11 to 14 June 2017, VI Summer School "From Proposal to Submission: Design of Cross-Cultural Study" was held outside Moscow, organized by the International Research and Teaching Laboratory for Socio-Cultural Research of the Expert Institute at HSE. The headline teachers at the School were the leading researchers known across the world: Fons van de Vijver (PhD, Professor, Tilburg University), Klaus Boehnke (PhD, deputy head ILSCR HSE, Professor, Jacobs University, Bremen), and Ulrich Kühnen (PhD, Professor, Jacobs University, Bremen).
