On September 20, 2023, Maria Kozlova, Chief Research Fellow of our Laboratory, defended her dissertation on the topic: "Moral regulation of ethno-cultural diversity in Russian education" The dissertation was submitted for the degree of Doctor of Sociological Sciences.

On September 11, 2023, a seminar dedicated to working with field data in the MAXQDA program was held for the research team of the project of the Russian Science Foundation "Cultural citizenship and local solidarity: the experience of Social inclusion of the audience of Russian Museums".

On September 6, 2023, Daniil Lebedev defended his PhD thesis on the topic "Paradata opportunities to measure and improve data quality in web surveys".

Marina Aleksandrova presented at the conference the results of her dissertation research on the topic: “The Application of Natural Language Processing Methods for prediction of item nonresponse: evidence from the ESS”.

The preliminary defense of Md. Reza Habib's dissertation was held on August 4, 2023 at a joint meeting of the Department of Sociology and our Laboratory.

Joint research is aimed at the theoretical description of a new generation of superconducting materials and devices. Among them is the work on the magnetic response of ferromagnetic superconductors, which offers a fresh look at the phenomenon of intermediate or intertype superconductivity in various materials. Another interesting work concerns the new mechanism of the "origin of complexity from simplicity" - when a system with rather primitive interactions between its constituent parts allows the emergence of complex spatial and temporal configurations (patterns). The  article with these results were sent respectively to the editors of the prestigious journals Communications Physics and Physical Review X.

D.V. Ivanov presented a report on the relationship between dispositions and the experience of guilt due to violation of inclusive norms by agents of inclusion.

The book is published in one of the most prestigious international publishers of scientific literature Springer and presents a comprehensive analysis of the Runet as a complex social phenomenon.

Researchers from HSE University’s Centre for Language and Brain, together with employees of Adyghe State University’s Laboratory of Experimental Linguistics, are conducting an expedition that is unprecedented in Russia: psycholinguistic field research into the Adyghe language and Russian-Adyghe bilingualism in a village in the Republic of Adygea.
