This autumn, 55 early-career researchers will start working at HSE University's campuses in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, and Perm. All of them have undergone a rigorous selection process and aim to make significant progress in both science and personal development during their participation in the Russian Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme. This year, in addition to PhDs who are Russian citizens, HSE University welcomes their colleagues from Poland, Kazakhstan, and India who have earned their academic degrees from Russian universities. On September 17-18, orientation events were held for them at HSE University.

The software package developed by the laboratory staff members was officially registered as a computer program for the first time.
On September 20, 2024, a research on strategic decisions of teams in cyber sports matches was presented at the IDLab workshop. The paper was introduced by Egor Ivanov, an IDLab research assistant, and coauthored by Maria Molodchik, Petr Parshakov, and Evgenia Shenkman. They studied how professional cybersports teams make decisions when choosing which cards to exclude from the game and which to select.
Evgeny Styrin, Head of the International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration at the HSE University attended the International Forum held in Wuhan, Hubei, China, at Huazhong University of Science and Technology in late July.
In Kazan there was held 3rd International Scientific and Practical Conference “Digital Technologies and Law”organized by the Research Institute of Digital Technologies and Law of the Kazan Innovation University named after V.G. Tymiryasov (Kazan, Russia). The conference, which was attended by over 1,200 participants from 26 countries, addressed a wide range of issues on digitalization and law that were addressed in 8 core sections, 8 special sessions and 6 partnership sessions. Thus, the conference is one of the most representative and large, especially considering that it takes place on the eve of the XVI BRICS summit, which will also take place in Kazan from 22 to 24 October 2024.
Third-year students in the "Management and Analytics in the Public Sector" program attended a lecture as part of the course "Technologies of Public Administration, Program and Policy Analysis." The lecture was delivered by Agnessa Bich, a Research Assistant at the International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration, under the guidance of Leading Research Fellow Anna Sanina. The lecture's topic was «The Influence of Emotions on Trust in Electronic Public Services», a socio-psychological experiment conducted in conjunction with the International Laboratory of Social Neurobiology.
