From August 13 to 25, 2018, IIMS Director Andrei Yakovlev is visiting the University of Bremen on invitation of the Faculty of Business Studies and Economics, working group of Jutta Günther. His visit takes place within the DAAD Eastern Partnership program and serves to continue and intensify joint academic research, exchange and development of future fields of cooperation.
On August first, a seminar was conducted at the Center for Bioelectric Interfaces. Current and ongoing research was presented by the members of the center.
18 - 21 June 2018 in Kolomna near Moscow there was the VIII Summer School "Design of Cross-Cultural Study", organized by the International laboratory for socio-cultural research, Expert Institute, Higher School of Economics. The teachers of the school were the leading foreign researchers with a world name: Fons van de Vijver (PhD, Professor, Tilburg University, IL SCR, HSE), Klaus Boehnke (PhD, Deputy head, IL SCR, HSE; Professor, Jacobs University, Bremen) and Andreas Alif Hajar (PhD, Professor, University of Luxembourg, Esch-sur-Alzette).
Senior Research Fellow of Laboratory for Logic, Linguistics and Formal Philosophy participated in the Workshop "Homotopy Type Theory/ Univalent Foundations".
Anna Rezyapova, a research assistant of our laboratory, participated in two international events related to the problem of migration and demography which took place in Athens (June 18-21, 2018) and Lisbon (June 26-28, 2018). Anna shared her experience and impressions of the trip.
