COVID-19: Updates from HSE Summer University

The coronavirus is strong, but together we are stronger. Let’s take care and stay safe, so that we can all soon embrace each other again. Due to recent travel and visa restrictions, as well as in the interest of students' health, the 2020 HSE Summer University session dates have been changed. Programme sessions will now begin on July 15 and conclude on August 20.

Moreover, on behalf of HSE's International Summer University, we would like to kindly inform you of the following restrictions now in effect in Russia:

1.  From March 18, 2020 until May 1, 2020 entry of foreign citizens is temporarily restricted;
2. The receipt of applications from foreign citizens submitted to Russia's Ministry of Internal Affairs for visa applications to enter Russia for academic purposes is temporarily suspended;  
3. Diplomatic and consular missions of the Russian Federation have temporarily stopped accepting documents and processing and issuing all visa types, including those in e-format.

The above restrictions are temporary in nature. However, as the situation with COVID-19 is affecting more and more people by the day all over the world, the situation is very unstable, so we kindly ask you to visit our web page and Facebook group for updates. 

An updated list of courses with new dates will be announced by April 16, 2020.
