International Partner Week Kicks Off at HSE

Representatives of about 30 international universities have come to Moscow to take part in International Partner Week at HSE and discuss cooperation agreements, joint educational programmes, and research and student exchange programmes. On June 23, a partner university fair will be held for HSE students.

HSE Signs Cooperation Agreement with Hitotsubashi University

On June 19 the Higher School of Economics signed a cooperation agreement with Hitotsubashi University in Japan. The agreement covers mutual visits for lecturers and researchers, student exchange programmes, as well as joint research projects, academic events, and publications.

Visit by Professor Nick Mansfield (Macquarie University, Australia)

On 21st March 2017 the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) was organizing the Research Management Workshop at the Residence of H.E.Excellency Ambassador of Australia in Moscow, where Professor Igor Agamirzian, HSE Vice President delivered a speech on Information Technologies as a Platform for Building R&D Partnerships for Engineering Education at HSE. Vice President was speaking about transforming a field-specific institution into a comprehensive university and presented a concept of education in engineering at HSE. The next day, on 22nd March 2017 Professor Nick Mansfield, Dean of Higher Degree Research at Macquarie University, Australia came to HSE to discuss potential opportunities for research collaboration and, particularly, Cotutelle in philology, computer science, physics with HSE.

On 16th March 2017 the German delegation headed by Prof. Dr. Alfred Forchel, President of University of Würzburg visited HSE to discuss cooperation plans and prospects.

Visit by Delegation from University of Exeter, UK to HSE

On 6th March 2017 the delegation from University of Exeter, UK headed by Professor Sir Steve Smith, Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive visited HSE to sign the Student Exchange Agreement in humanities and discuss new opportunities for cooperation.

First Official Friend of HSE Receives Award

During his business trip to Pantheon-Sorbonne Paris 1 University, HSE Rector Yaroslav Kuzminov awarded Michel Sollogoub with the first Friend of HSE statuette in the history of the Golden HSE Award.

University of Central Asia and Higher School of Economics Sign Partnership Agreement in Moscow

The University of Central Asia (UCA) and the National Research University’s Higher School of Economics (HSE) signed an agreement on 14 February 2017 in Moscow, Russia. HSE will develop curriculum for UCA’s undergraduate programme in Economics and contribute towards faculty development. UCA has the field experience and data on economic challenges in Central Asia, and HSE will provide the analytical expertise, including exchange of faculty and students, and collaborate on joint research.
