Neighbourhood
The small streets between Pokrovka and Solyanka contain many unique buildings and churches, including the Church of the Three Holy Hierarchs in Kulishki, 1670-1674 (4/6 Malyi Tryokhsvyatitelskiy Pereulok) and the Church of St. Vladimir, 1677-1689 (Building 1. 11 Starosadskiy Pereulok).

Neighbourhood
There are many art nouveau buildings on Myasnitskaya Ulitsa, including the Biblio Globus bookshop. The Tea House on 19 Myasnitskaya Ulitsa is decorated in the Chinoiserie style, one of the only buildings of its kind in Moscow. Past the Bulvarnoe Koltso you can find two superb examples of Constructivist architecture: the Gostorg building (47 Myasnitskaya Ulitsa) and the Tsentrosoyuz building constructed by Le Corbusier (39 Myasnitskaya Ultisa).

Within walking distance there is Neskuchniy Sad park, with the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences housed in Neskuchniy Palace. Right next to it is the entrance to Gorky Park. From the viewing points at the Russian Academy of Sciences and on Vorobievy Gory you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of Moscow.

The mainly industrial area of Sokolinaya Gora has two good examples of Orthodox churches: the Church of Resurrection of Christ (mid 19th cent.) in the small park on the crossroads of the Izmaylovskoe Shosse and Prospekt Budennogo and the Church of Saint Demetrius of Thessaloniki (early 20th cent.) on the junction of Blagusha and Ibragimova.
