Discover Moscow Online
Discover Moscow is a project supported by the Moscow City Government. You can browse through photos and stories about old buildings, areas, parks and streets, find a route for a walk, or learn about some of the important people who have influenced the capital city’s history. The routes and descriptions are linked to the city map and accompanied with vibrant images.
Navigation through the website can be a little cumbersome, and at times the English isn’t perfect, but we’re sure that the website team will improve these things over time.
The Russian-language version includes a mobile app with routes and excursions around the city.
HSE has also participated in the development of this resource. The Laboratory for Political Studies has created several quests around Moscow streets for the Russian version of the website.
