Museum Night in Moscow: May 21
Admission to Museum Night events in Moscow is free of charge. In most cases, advance registration (on the website of the chosen museum) is required. If registration is closed, some venues are open to everyone without excursions.

GES–2
15 Bolotnaya Naberezhnaya
This old power station building has been overhauled into a trendy arts venue. For one night, its bright halls will turn into a mysterious and dark place. The lighting will change, while the birch garden fill with strange blinking. Simply visit the building to take some photos or visit an exhibition about the overhaul of GES–2. The last excursion starts at 11:30 pm. Advance registration is required.
Jewish Museum and Tolerance Centre
11 Obraztsova Ulitsa, 1A
All night long, the museum will play vinyl records, host a pop-up fair by the museum shop, a film screening of a drama film by Israeli director Joseph Sedar, and a tour of the exhibition ‘The Lonka Project: Numbered’. Museum of Moscow
2 Zubovsky Bulvar
Featuring master classes with artists and archaeologists, free tours of Moscow, and a special exhibition for children and teenagers. The programme will run from 11 am to 9 pm. Register here.
All-Russian Decorative Art Museum

Leo Tolstoy Estate Museum

There will be short excursions around the museum from 6 pm to 9 pm.
State Darwin Museum
57 Vavilova Ulitsa
A magnificent show will unfold on the facade of the museum: a trailer for the new video ‘Nizhnesvirsky Nature Reserve’ filmed on the shores of Lake Ladoga. The video footage taken from a quadrocopter provides a bird’s-eye view of the reserve. There will also be an exhibition on the museum’s roof, which boasts views of the city, comfortable poufs, a bookcrossing area and free Wi-Fi.
