GUM Skating Rink and GUM Fair on Red Square
GUM (the main department store in Russia)

Red Square is definitely the best place for atmospheric New Year's Eve photos. Plan the perfect day: meet up with friends and skate in front of the sparkling lights of GUM.

The Largest Skating Rink in Moscow
VDNH (the largest exhibition complex in Moscow).

There are a lot of ice rinks in Moscow, but the biggest one is at VDNH. The advantage of this ice rink is that if you get cold or tired of skating, you can also visit the exhibition area at the VDNH complex.
Opening hours: Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri 11 am – 11 pm; Sat and Sun 10 am – 11 pm; closed on Mondays
NB: The rink closes for a technical break between 3 and 5 pm.
