Vintage Trams and Unique Cars: Moscow to Host Retro Transport Parade

On July 8, Moscow will host its traditional retro transport parade, featuring 14 vintage tram cars and unique vehicles from various periods. The parade will start at Novokuznetskaya metro station and end at Chistoprudny Bulvar, where an exhibition of vintage transport will be open until 6 pm.

The vehicles will depart from Novokuznetskaya metro station at 11 am, before travelling across Bolshoy Ustinsky Bridge and along the Boulevard Ring. The parade will finish on Chistoprudny Bulvar, where there will be a retro transport exhibition from 12 pm to 6 pm. Visitors will be able to view tram cars and take photos with them.

The exhibition will also feature a reenactment of 1930s Moscow, complete with actors. The event will open with a performance by the Moscow Metro Academic Choir, and there will be other performances by artists from the Music in the Metro project throughout the day.
