‘The Way of Communication’: NOWALLS Exhibition on the Walls of the Art Quarter

A free street art exhibition is now open near Kurskaya metro station on a wall along a railroad that used to be covered in tags.

Explore the inner world of the artist at ‘The Way of Communication’ (a Russian-language play on the words for ‘rail links’).

The NOWALLS art gallery continues to host free art exhibitions on the streets of Moscow. ‘The Way of Communication’ is located on a wall running along railway tracks in the art quarter. Works by six artists will be available to view until May 24, 2024.

The concept of the exhibition was developed by the Moscow Architecture Committee and Winzavod to support street art artists. The works were selected via competition and evaluation by an expert commission. The exhibition features works by six artists: Gosha Ykor, Zhihar, Zhenya Woyner, Andrey Aznet, Sergey Ovseikin (Zukclub) and Nikita Dusto. The aim of the artworks is to reflect the artists’ ideas on ‘the way of communication’. All the paintings are connected with the authors’ stories from the past, personal experiences, and insights, and provide an opportunity for interpretation from the point of view of one's own experience and perception.

Address: The wall along the railway tracks on the road from Kurskaya railway station towards two creative clusters: Winzavod and Artplay Design Centre. Take exit 6 from Kurskaya or Chkalovskaya metro stations.

Open until: May 24, 2024

Free entrance
