Feel the Love at ‘The 5 Love Languages’ Interactive Exhibition

Step into a world where communication takes centre stage and love is the ultimate language. Explore this interactive exhibition dedicated to the concept of the five love languages at the Winzavod Center for Contemporary Art and discover how to connect with your loved ones on a deeper level. From words of affirmation to acts of service, immerse yourself in a journey of self-discovery and understanding as you uncover the key to creating lasting, meaningful connections. This interactive experience unlocks the secrets of expressing and receiving love in the most profound way.

Open until May 7, 2024

The exhibition is based on the principles of expressing love proposed by psychologist Gary Chapman, who theorised that each person has their own way of expressing and perceiving love. He identified five main ‘love languages’ that help people better understand each other and improve their relationships.

These five languages are:

1.Words of affirmation: compliments, praise, and words of support.

2. Quality time: being close to loved ones and spending time with them.

3. Receiving Gifts: receiving and giving gifts that symbolise care and attention.

4. Acts of service: receiving help with household chores or care.

 5. Physical touch: physical touch, hugs, kisses, and other physical expressions of love.

People can use this concept to better understand what kind of love language their partner speaks and try to use it to strengthen their relationship.

Through interactive video and audio installations, visitors to the exhibition will learn how each love language can be expressed and find out which one resonates with them. The exhibition is divided into zones, each dedicated to a specific love language.

The creators of the exhibition say that the goal is to build deep and harmonious relationships with others and with oneself.
