Find the Path to Your Inner Balance, Explore the History of AI in China, and Learn to Invest at Science Festival
SCIENCE 0+ Festival will take place in Moscow from October 11 to 13 at various venues throughout the city. The Science Festival covers a variety of topics such as health, chemistry, language, society, sustainable development, and engineering.
Each topic has its own platform, which makes it easier to find the activities you are interested in—find a theme that you want to explore, see where the platform is located, study the programme on the festival website and register to participate.
Some events require prior registration due to the limited number of slots, while others are open to everyone without registration.
Below is a selection of events that we recommend visiting.
The Path to Inner Balance, Art Therapy Workshop
Venue: Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University, 7 Ostrovityanova Ulitsa, Building 1, Classroom A8
Date and time: October 12, 10:45am– 3:55pm
Creative art exercises will help you cope with fatigue or anxiety, as well as help you explore your inner world, understand the influence of family on your personality, and develop harmonious relationships with loved ones.

AI in China: Technology, Industry, People, Lecture in English
Venue: Shuvalov Building of MSU, 27 Lomonosovsky Prospekt, Building 4, Classroom B4
Date and time: October 12, 10:00am
The lecture will discuss the latest research results and technological achievements in the field of artificial intelligence in China. In addition, we will examine the Chinese AI industry and present a modern portrait of researchers and engineers working in the field of artificial intelligence—representatives of both academia and industry.
Chemistry Under the Microscope, Photo Exhibition
Venue: Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology, 9 Miusskaya Ploshad, Building 33
Date and time: October 13, 10:00am–5:00pm
The exhibition demonstrates that chemistry is not just boring formulae, but a whole amazing world of beauty and unfathomable shapes. At the same time, there will be an opportunity to visit the ‘Science in Lines’ drawing exhibition. This exhibition will be devoted to various chemical industries and will feature drawings that present technological equipment, familiar to all chemists, as objects of art.
Forensic Medicine: Investigation
Venue: Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University, 1 Ostrovityanova Ulitsa, the hall near A2–A4 classrooms

In popular culture, the profession of a forensic medical expert is often romanticised. Of course, books and films don't fully align with reality. But how close are they to real life? Can the entire course of an investigation depend on a single forensic expert's conclusion? You have the opportunity to get answers to these questions and try your hand at being a forensic medical expert!

The event will allow you to engage in a dialogue about ecological concerns like pollution and climate change and practise English while enjoying interactive quizzes and fun activities. You will be able to check your knowledge on sustainability, activate key vocabulary in a discussion, and work with real-life examples.
Oceanographic Expedition Workshop
Venue: Moscow Palace of Pioneers, 17 Kosygina Ulitsa, Building 1
Date and time: October 12 and 13, 10:00 to 18:00
The workshop offers participants a chance to explore oceanography through interactive experiments related to research vessel operations. You will engage in various laboratory activities, including hydrochemical, hydrophysical, and geological studies. This will allow you to step into the role of a scientist and learn about the challenges faced in marine environments.
Investment from Scratch Lecture
Venue: Shuvalov Building of MSU, 27 Lomonosovsky Prospekt, Building 4, Classroom B5

The festival welcomes not only those who are interested in science and technology but also those who wish to learn how to invest wisely. The lecture reveals the secrets of saving up the initial capital and opening a brokerage account, along with many other useful basics for students who are just starting their path in the world of investments. Why is it crucial to start investing at a young age? What mistakes should be avoided? What is investment profiling? The answers to all these questions will be discussed during the lecture.
What Red Lists Can Tell Us? Lecture

Have you ever heard about the Red List of threatened species? This weekend, there is a great opportunity to discover the world of the first Red List, the way it was formed, and what kinds of bird and animal species were included in it. The event will shed light on the mysterious Black List and how scientists study Russian regions’ flora and fauna species that are already in the Red List.
Concert and Master-class ‘Termenvox and Organ’
Venue: MSU Cultural Сentre, 1 Leninskie Gory Ulitsa, Building 2, Sector A

Concert and master-class ‘Termenvox and Organ’ with participation of the head of the Termenvox School, great-grandson of Lev Termenov, Pyotr Termenov (Termenvox) and the head of the Organ Class at Moscow State University, winner of the 'Organist of the Year Award' 2022, Yulia Lotova (organ).
The programme includes Bach, Niedermaier, Massenet, Piazzolla, Bizet, Morricone, Termen, Lotova and others.
