Philip Treacy. Hats in the 21st Century. Exhibition on Myasnitskaya Ulitsa

Right across the street from the HSE buildings on Myasnitskaya Ulitsa there is an eye-catching bright-blue mansionwith a cour d'honneur and a portal decorated with white atlantes. This building has been closed for decades, but today it’s open and showing a unique exhibition of hats by Philip Treacy. This might be a good way to spend that spare hour between classes or meetings on Myasnitskaya.

Magical Journey to Christmas

As more and more Moscow streets turn pedestrian, the idea of walking around the city is becoming more and more attractive. Even more so this winter, since the Moscow government has organized a festival ‘Magical Journey to Christmas’, which is taking place around the city in various pedestrian zones until January 11.

HSE Design Professors Exhibiting at MMOMA

Higher School of Economics to Teach Art of Dreaming on Moscow’s Night of the Arts

As part of the citywide Night of the Arts event on November 3, the Higher School of Economics will offer Muscovites a spectacular show called the Art of Dreaming. The university will combine several art forms into one – theater, film, poetry, dance, oratory, painting, light installations, street art, and many others.

Moscow and London. Reflections. 1914 – 2014

On October 17, 2014, an exhibition ‘Moscow and London. Reflections. 1914 – 2014’ opened at the Museum of Moscow. It is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the ‘Old English Embassy’ museum and tells the story of life in two world capitals during the last century through the use of photography and newsreel.

An exhibition entitled ‘Oscar Wilde. Aubrey Beardsley. The View from Russia’ is currently being shown at the Pushkin Museum. It features pieces by Aubrey Beardsley together with works by Russian artists from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, whom he influenced.

Music Night
