6th International Russia Longitudinal Monitoring Survey of HSE User Conference

HSE Russian Longitudinal Monitoring Survey (RLMS HSE) is conducted annually based on a nationally representative sample. It contains unique information about Russian society transformations since 1994. Researchers turn to RLMS HSE data to obtain reliable information about composition and well-being of Russian households, situation on Russian labor market and unemployment, availability of education and healthcare services, subjective attitudes and level of trust among Russians.
For more than a decade RLMS HSE data user conferences have served as a meeting place and productive discussions for economists, sociologists, demographers, and public health specialists. This year more than 140 researchers from six countries of the world took part in the conference. Within nine sections were presented 35 reports covering a wide range of issues of the socio-economic development of Russia.
At sessions participants of the conference discussed problems of inequality in labor market and impact of COVID-19 pandemic on employment, specifics of professional structure of the population and situation of labor migrants, specifics of Russian identity and involvement in the public sphere, practices of health care and child care during the pandemic.
The conference was held with financial support provided under a grant from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation (Grant Agreement No.: 075-15-2022-325).
