Course Syllabus

Abstract

Preparation of students to be able to use English for formulating mathematical results and giving talks on their work. A familiarity with the constructive approach invented by Sossinsky, by means of which a rather small collection of standard linguistic devices may be applied to produce correct and meaningful texts in English, specifically on mathematical themes. This course is compulsory. Pre-requisites : Basic knowledge of English.
