Course Syllabus
Abstract
The course gives students the opportunity to master their skills of image editing which is a very important part of a news production process. It is especially important to verify the quality, credibility, and the copyright clearance of the present-day images. This is a very important group of skills for the future specialists in international news production.
Learning Objectives
- To get the student acquainted with the development patterns in the modern media
- To introduce the basic principle of image production
- To master the basic tools for picture making
- The teach the skill for selection and editing the pictures of the various types
- To introduce the advanced principles of the visual storytelling
