Course Syllabus
Abstract
The course is aimed at forming students' understanding of the content of foreign trade commercial activities. The objectives of students' mastering the discipline "International Commercial Operations" are the study of modern forms and trends in the development of international economic relations as a global system of relationships covering the world economy, the study and familiarization with the main categories, concepts and principles of foreign economic activity at the company level, an overview of the problems and practices of the organization and technology of foreign trade operations. Within the framework of this discipline, the organizational forms of international trade, foreign trade contracts, their content, conclusion and execution, the organization of the management of foreign trade operations at the enterprise, the problems and features of the participation of small and medium-sized businesses in foreign trade, the conjuncture of world commodity markets and the features of its study will be studied, international movement of capital and foreign investment. As a result of mastering this discipline, students should know: the main theories of international economics; patterns and trends in the development of international economic relations, including the place and role of Russia; be able to: evaluate the country's position in international economic relations, identify its strong and weak components; identify problems of an economic nature in the activities of subjects of international economic relations, propose ways to solve them, taking into account the criteria of socio-economic efficiency, risk assessment and possible socio-economic consequences; have skills: qualitative and basic quantitative analysis of modern international economic relations; assessment of the current activities of international companies, as well as assess the prospects for their development.
