Abstract

A famous entrepreneur once said that in his company all the employees speak human language, but the IT people speak goat one. Therefore, a translator is needed between the users of digital technology, and those who create it. Moreover, employees from different departments view the company through their functional responsibilities, but effective management requires a holistic and consistent model that integrates all points of view. The interpreter for creating an integrated model of the company is the enterprise architect, and enterprise architecture (EA) is a discipline that includes a set of methods and tools to build this model. In this course, students undertake a project to develop a digital transformation strategy, consistently mastering the tools of strategic company analysis and EA modeling at the business, data, application and technical levels.
