Course Syllabus

Abstract

The course is designed for those who is new to foreign language teaching and encompasses the basic theoretical background, techniques and tools used in the language teacher's craft. The course gives an basic overview of teaching language systems and language skills, planning and teaching a lesson, and designing teaching materials. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to successfully embark upon the main specialization course "Foreign Language Teaching to Younger and Adult Learners in Different Contexts" and/or take FLT modules like TLT or CELTA.
