Course Syllabus
Abstract
This course is aimed at providing the students with the fundamental understanding of digital innovation: its conception, implementation and limitations. The key topics covered will circle around a framework of People, Processes and Technology, and how those affect various aspects of innovation within different industries.
Learning Objectives
- Introduce the current landscape of digital innovation: what has been done so far in different countries and industries
- Brainstorm and prepare for what´s next: technology & innovation foresight
- Acquire tools & frameworks to approach and critique various digital innovation strategies
Expected Learning Outcomes
- The student will acquire fundamentals of agile culture and its applications, basic presentation skills and frameworks to create and evaluate innovation teams
- The student will acquire the capability to analyze and evaluate cutting edge technologies on the basis of its potential to disrupt businesses
- The student will acquire the skillset to analyze, interpret and evalute possible implications of various innovations, both short and long term (beyond the business case)
- The students will learn how to implement innovation nurturing activities in an organization
