Course Syllabus
Abstract
The research seminar spans various aspects of foreign language teachers' contunuous professional development, including preparation and taking international language exams along with teacher-training courses and exams. Emphasis is put on young learners, teaching for exams, and business processes in managing organizations involved in foreign language teaching. This seminar focuses on methods for teaching Business English and English for Public Speaking and Presentations.
Learning Objectives
- To give a comprehensive overview of contemporary Business English teaching methods and practices
- To provide a solid understanding of the contemporary cross-cultural communication principles and implement them in class
- To develop teaching skills in the business-related framework by combining theory and practice in a variety of contexts
- To give an overview of practicable business training and coaching tools
