Abstract

The ultimate goal of this course is to familiarize students with the main principles and components of economic research and prepare them for writing their theses. In class, students will learn how to evaluate work of others as a crucial skill in being able to critically analyze and present their own work. A part of the course will be devoted to professional ethics, rules of citation and quotation, and avoiding plagiarism. Some of the lectures will be given by other NES professors.
