Abstract
The study of the theology and exegesis of the LXX is an important moment in the history of Judaism and of the Hebrew Bible. The influence of Hellenistic thought on the LXX, i.e. the degree of Hellenisation that the Hebrew Bible underwent in being translated into Greek as a concrete expression of a more complex phenomenon, which is the Hellenisation of the whole Middle East after the conquests by Alexander
