Abstract

The course is built on the concepts of Organizational Behaviour and Human Resources Management. The organizational behaviour (OB) provides students with frameworks for diagnosing and dealing with the situations, problems and opportunities that typically occur in organizational settings.Organizational Behaviour uses many interdisciplinary topics as wide-ranging aspsychology, sociology, management, leadership, political science and anthropology. Studying organizational behavior helps students to understand, predict and manage behavior at individual, group and organization levels and gives a lot of insights on how positive and negative behaviors of employee influence operations. On organizational level, the topics include organizational structures, organizational cultures, organizational change & learning and organizational processes such as leadership, power, and communication. The knowledge of Organizational Behavior concepts gives a broader view of organizational context and allows to predict the consequences of actions in organizations, shape the strategy and actions in the desirable direction and, most importantly, to improve organizational results through more effective managerial behaviour and stronger leadership.Human Resources Management (HRM) will give students the practical views that integrates the contributions of OB into day-to-day people management in real life in all the elements of employee life cycle and also covers such important aspects as HR strategy and its connections with business strategy.Students will learn how to use sourcing, performance management, leaning & development, reward management tools to maintain and change corporate culture.
