Abstract
Bioenergetics is an interdisciplinary science, a branch of biology that studies the totality of the processes of converting external resources into biologically useful work in living systems. Traditionally, this science explores processes such as cellular respiration, photophosphorylation, membrane energization and related transport, as well as other ways for organisms to obtain energy. In addition, the field of this science includes the study of mitochondria as regulatory systems, their role in programmed cell and tissue death. This curriculum sets out the requirements for the student's educational and learning outcomes and defines the content and types of training sessions and reporting. The program is intended for teachers leading the discipline "Bioenergetics", teaching assistants and students of the field of study 06.03.01 Biology, studying under the educational program "Cellular and molecular biotechnology".
