Course Syllabus

Abstract

The course offers an exploration of Italian history under the leadership of Benito Mussolini (1922-1943). It delves into the political, social, institutional, and cultural dimensions of this period, examining Mussolini's rise to power, his consolidation of authority, and the impact of Italian fascist ideology on the history of the Kingdom of Italy. This will include changes in political institutions, social and cultural reforms and transformations and the international role of Italy.
