Abstract

The EU and Asia do remain the nearest and most attractive destinations for doing business for many companies all over the world. The legal environment in each of them is in a constant and radical change. Hence, business community has to take into account new challenges and new conditions for doing business in these regions. The novelty of the course methodology is in combining theory and practice in relation to the analysis of companies’ activities on these markets. During the classes the teacher is in permanent contact with students, finds out their preferences for a deeper penetration in certain topics; sets homework and presentations; adjusts the direction of discussions. Students actively participate in a study process. In summary, the main objective of the course is to give an overview of how to defend the interests of foreign companies on the basis of knowledge about economic and legal environment in the EU and in Asia on the basis of recent developments in these regions.
